Among 17,000 submitted photos in the International Nature Photography Competition Asferico, only 78 Photographers from 19 different countries managed to be rewarded in 2026.
I'm very happy and proud that another of my photos from Scandinavia (2025) is rewarded internationally. My image "Dark Forest" is “highly commended” category "Mammals". This is the third time i am lucky to be rewarded in Asferico.
The image was created with a Leica SL2-S paired with Vario-Elmar-SL 100-400 f/5-6.3 (1/200 sek, f/6, ISO 1250, 260 mm)
